Mary Stokes

Mary Stokes focuses on Central and Eastern Europe and Turkey. Her areas of interest include monetary and fiscal policy, regional integration and political risk. She has been quoted by CNN, the New York Times, BusinessWeek and Forbes, as well as numerous regional publications. Her research has been cited by the Financial Times, the Center for Strategic and International Studies and the Institute for Fiscal Studies (IEF), among others. She holds a master’s degree from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) with a concentration in international economics and a specialization in emerging markets and a bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).

Emre Deliveli The Kapali Carsi

Emre Deliveli is a freelance consultant, part-time lecturer in economics and columnist. Previously, Emre worked as economist for Citi Istanbul, covering Turkey and the Balkans. He was previously Director of Economic Studies at the Economic Policy Research Foundation of Turkey in Ankara and has has also worked at the World Bank, OECD, McKinsey and the Central Bank of Turkey. Emre holds a B.A., summa cum laude, from Yale University and undertook his PhD studies at Harvard University, in Economics.
