The Kapali Carsi

I am back!

As some readers (especially the ones I’ve met) know, I have been in London since early August, for a tiny bit of business, lots of vacation.

I was able to blog for the first few days, but things started to get tough once I emerged into pubbing every night. Kind of tough to blog after returning home every night after half a dozen pints or so:)…

But I felt I had to blog after E.H., the reader I met with last night, treated me like a celebrity and flew my ego all the way to the stars:) I finally managed to find a solution: Do one-person pub nights at home. Not as social as the real thing, but at least I can taste great beers (unavailable in Turkey) while blogging. So I went to the huge Tesco nearby and got all the ammunition, including my favorite American and Belgian beers:

So I will starting blogging full steam after a hot shower. Hopefully, the cider will have cooled down by then… BTW, we do have Strongbow cider in Turkey, but the 33cl bottle costs more than the 2-liter monster I just bought:(…
