Martin Schindler

Martin Schindler is a senior economist in the IMF’s European Department. Mr. Schindler's interests include labor economics, monetary theory and international finance. He has contributed to recent IMF projects on financial globalization and on structural reforms, as well as to various aspects of the IMF's country work. Mr. Schindler's research has appeared in the Journal of Monetary Economics, the European Economic Review, the IMF Staff Papers and other outlets. He holds a Ph.D. in economics from the University of Pennsylvania and a master’s degree in business from the Universität des Saarlandes.
