Michael Hart is director of FX strategy at Roubini Global Economics. Prior to joining RGE, Michael was the European head of FX Strategy at Citigroup, following 12 years of work on emerging markets. During this time, Michael covered both Latin American and Eastern European economies at various investment banks, beginning with Salomon Brothers in New York, followed by JP Morgan and Dresdner Kleinwort in London. He has also served in the public sector, having been responsible for the sovereign credit risk exposure of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD). Michael holds a bachelor of science degree from the London School of Economics and undertook his doctoral studies in economics at Columbia University in New York.
